Products description
For a long time now we at FSDG create FS sceneries of Indian Ocean islands. Seychelles, Reunion,
Mauritus,... While working on the latter, we came across a small island in the middle of nowhere, a
sandbank less than 2 kilometres long, rising less than 25 feet above the ocean. For pilots it has one
important feature though: a runway! We immediately realized this place was a perfect additon to our big
Indian Ocean sceneries – a wonderful stopover for flights between the Seychelles and the big islands in the
south, for FS pilots as well as for our AI traffic included in FSDG-Reunion and FSDG-Mauritius.
In reality Tromelin is accessed mostly by scientists, either with military or medium GA aircraft like Twin
Otters or Cessna Caravans. Landing a Transall or King Air on the small dirt strip lacking any kind of visual aid
will be quite an adventure for all FS pilots. Can you do it?
